‘I think people will definitely underestimate me because they’ll think, “He’s a dumb ex footballer”,’ he said in an official trailer, which was released on Now to Love.

Meanwhile, prison officer Dani is described as ‘tough as nails’ and is determined to win to show that women can do anything.

One contestant who is sure to be major competition is marine scientist Laura Wells, who is a model with degrees in law and biology.

Other contestants include personal trainer Daini, MMA fighter Chelsea Hackett, forensic psychologist Georgia, and handsome health coach Emmett.

Australian Survivor: Brains v Brawn will launch on Sunday, July 18, at 7:30pm.

The program was shot in outback Queensland and it’s the first time the competition has been divided into two teams of ‘Brains’ and ‘Brawn’.
