Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) will panic over the potential for monster DNA as his necktie killer past haunts. Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal) will realize she must overcome her husband’s baby reservations with love, patience and reassurance.
Although Ben was previously on board with the idea of having children with Ciara, it’s different when you’re just dreaming about this vague idea of parenthood.
Once Ciara’s out of birth control and suggesting they should try making it a reality, Ben will consider his history and worry about passing down a sinister side of himself.
Ben wreaked havoc back when he was the necktie killer and was a true villain on Days for quite some time.
Those of us who watched Ben terrorize Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) and other characters around town can see why Ben would at least battle concerns.
Ben was later redeemed and overcame what his doctors determined to be a mental illness. With therapy, medication and hard work, Ben became a better man and never wants to repeat that terrible chapter of his life.
Of course, Ben won’t want his son or daughter becoming the new necktie killer either!
After all, dangerous tendencies run in Ben’s family since Clyde Weston (James Read) was an abusive nightmare to him growing up – and Jordan Ridgeway (Chrishell Stause) turned out to be an insane murderer, too.
All of this will become something Ben wrestles with as Ciara pushes to get started on their “Cin” brood. Days spoilers say Ciara will understand Ben’s worries, but she’ll no doubt remind him of all his good qualities.
Ben has become the resident hero on DOOL in more recent years, so Ciara may argue that their kids could inherit the very best of him.
This will set up an exciting fall storyline for Ben and Ciara – presumably one that brings Ciara’s pregnancy.
Ciara will continue to help Ben as he deals with reservations along the way, but they’ve never backed down from a challenge before! Ben and Ciara can tackle anything as long as they do it together.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Ben and Ciara’s future should indeed include a family, but there’ll be more complications as this DOOL story heats up.
