A Married At First Sight groom is now dating one of his wedding guests, who stole viewers’ attention in an eyepopping gown despite only having a brief cameo.

Those tuning into Tuesday night’s episode couldn’t help but notice a brunette woman, who has since been named as Gold Coast nurse Samantha Symes, attending the marriage of Dan Hunjas, 42, and Sandy Jawanda, 36.

Samantha, thought to be a friend of the groom, flashed onscreen for just seconds during the ceremony, but was unmissable in an incredibly daring neon-orange gown.

And now in a shocking twist, it appears Samantha is currently dating Dan months after filming ended - all but confirming the MAFS groom has split from his TV wife Sandy.

Daily Mailpublished photos of the pair kissing at The Star Casino on the Gold Coast - where they both live.

Dan, a wealthy marketing tycoon who drives a Porsche 911, could be seen dancing with Samantha at Garden Bar on Friday night, with another photo showing the pair engaged in a passionate kiss.

Samantha also uploaded a loved-up pic of the pair to her Instagram stories.

The nurse took to Instagram back in August – when the show began filming – to credit her “glam squad” for helping her get ready for the TV wedding.

The Queenslander, who has almost 40,000 followers on the platform, thanked her fashion stylist, hair, and makeup artists for styling her for screen.

Last week, Samantha shared another photo with her followers from the big day, writing, “Bitter [sic] late than never.”

Dan wrote on the post with a cryptic comment.

“The caption …” he wrote, with a ‘100’ emoji and waving hands. Samantha responded, “oh can u resonate babe ahhaa.”

Last night’s nuptials saw the successful father-of-one marry Sandy, a Victorian dental therapist from a traditional Indian family.

The pair shared an undeniable chemistry, with Dan making a nervous Sandy feel at ease at the altar.

In the lead up to the ceremony, Sandy was seen in tears after visiting her strict parents to tell them of her plans to appear on MAFS.

They refused to be filmed, and also rejected the invitation to attend their daughter’s TV wedding.

“I may come across as a strong, fearless woman, but growing up as a first generation Indian in the ’90s has been challenging,” Sandy said in her vows.

“Being different, accepting myself for who I am, conforming to and meeting the expectations of my parents and the community while finding my identity as an Australian woman.

“So dear husband, why am I doing this?

“Because I’ve learned that a life lived in fear is a life half-lived. I’m done with just dipping my toes in. I’m putting my complete trust in the process and jumping in with both feet.”

A beaming Dan referred to his new ‘wife’ as a “trailblazer”.

Married At First Sight continues Wednesday at 7.30pm on Channel 9
