The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that fans have questions about Wyatt Spencer’s (Darin Brooks) relationship status since Flo Logan (Katrina Bowden) has been MIA for so long. Wyatt mentioned traveling with Flo back when Quinn Fuller (Rena Sofer) was still around, but Flo hasn’t really come up much since then.
Of course, Wyatt always listens to Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) talk about his marriage to Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) – and he’s certainly been involved in Bill Spencer’s (Don Diamont) latest relationship drama as well.
It was a relief for Wyatt to find out Bill wasn’t really in love with Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown), but what about Wyatt’s own love life?
Wyatt and Flo got engaged before she disappeared from the canvas, so it doesn’t seem realistic for the show to let this go on indefinitely.
Earlier this year, B&B Head Writer and Executive Producer Bradley Bell told SOD that Flo was still “out there” in his mind and suggested he’d like to use Katrina Bowden if she was available.
Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem like the show’s been able to work anything out, so maybe it’s time to set Wyatt free!
They could even use it as part of the story if Wyatt starts making excuses for Flo’s absence and acting cagey.
Perhaps Liam could eventually get Wyatt to admit that his engagement fell apart.
Wyatt deserves a proper love interest on canvas and the chance to get back in the action on a more regular basis.
Since soaps tend to revolve around romances, the best way to give Wyatt a new story is to offer a new woman for him to fall for – or at least let him fall for someone already onscreen.
Hope might even be an option since her marriage to Liam is about to blow up.
The show’s never really explored Wyatt and Hope’s chemistry with Annika Noelle in the role, so this might be a good time to give Hope and Wyatt’s reunion a try.
Then again, maybe the show should just introduce a new character or bring back a familiar face from the past.
Regardless, making Wyatt single again would open up some interesting opportunities for love and a new future.
Will Wyatt ultimately reveal the news of his failed engagement? Should Wyatt break up with Flo so that he can be single again and fall for someone else?
