He says, “you show up and ask for a consult like any other doctor?” She asks what is the protocol for ex-wives she will take it. She tells him that this family needs his help. She goes to leave and he tells her to stay, it wouldn’t be fair to the patient.

Marcus is showing Gina and her husband around the OR to tell them how things will go. Marcus says they have to deliver right away, one of the babies heart could stop because of the position. Later, in the OR, surgery begins and one by one the babies are removed, it only takes three minutes. Baby A is well, Baby B and C share a placenta – they are identical twins.

He wants the twins kept together, Morgan disagrees and Marcus tells her to just do it. Baby F is ok, but not crying yet.

The parents are brought in baby A, the first to cry. Morgan an Alex are attending the twin and they agree to not talk to each other unless it is about the babies.
