As it was previously reported, Kim Kardashian said to reporters from Vogue recently that she had decided to start a four-year apprenticeship at a law firm in San Francisco. This won’t be the first time she has worked as an apprentice either. In 2010, she appeared on NBC’s The Apprentice.

For their May cover story, the outlet reports that despite Kim never completed college, she intends to take the bar exam in 2022. Several states in the United States, including California, have a standard by which would-be lawyers can either “read the law,” or apprentice with a lawyer or judge.

Her involvement with Alice Marie Johnson, 63, was what inspired her to make the decision. After seeing how the legal system works, Kim realized that she can easily make a positive difference in the world, working to free individuals who are wrongly accused of crimes.

It was reported last year that the 63-year-old, Alice Marie Johnson, was behind bars for a nonviolent drug conviction. She was in prison for trafficking large volumes of drugs, although it was her first offense.

During a meeting at the Oval Office in June 2018, Kim met with the president, and just a few days later, the president commuted the sentence. Alice had been in prison for over twenty years. Speaking with Vogue, the reality star admitted she could make a difference in the legal system.

Will Kim Kardashian actually become a lawyer? If the family is any evidence of her capability, it looks she won’t have a problem, as law runs in the Kardashian-Jenner bloodline. Her late father, for instance, Robert Kardashian, was a prominent lawyer in Los Angeles.

He was part of the team who got OJ Simpson off in the 1995 trial for killing Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend, Ronald Goldman. According to NBC News,  Kim also helped Mathew Charles, one of the first individuals let out of prison following a criminal justice reform law signed by the controversial president in the final month of 2018.

After it was revealed Matthew got out of prison, he had difficulty leasing an apartment. In fact, his application was rejected, so Kim Kardashian took to her Twitter to urge landlords in Nashville Tennesse to give him a lease, and she’d easily pay the first five years. Several days later, the 52-year-old revealed he got a house with help from Kim and Kanye.
